Senior .NET software engineer – up to 65k – Edinburgh city center – Global SaaS company
This is an opportunity for a software engineer to join an extremely successful agile software company based in central Edinburgh. This company have expanded their product roadmap due to recent successes, and are about to begin the development of phase 1 of their new B2B SaaS products.
The role
As a senior software engineer, you will concentrate on designing and developing a number of greenfield web applications with the latest Microsoft technology stack.
You will also act as a champion of best practice, and constantly driving innovation in the product through architectural decisions and working closely with stakeholders to build a better product.
Being a senior in the team, you will also be expected to provide junior developers with the support and guidance that they need.
Their structure is very flat, so this role would be well suited to someone in either a Senior or lead level position.
The company operate with a very relaxed, almost start up esque culture, where collaboration and new ideas are promoted. You also have set time every week to dedicate to researching new technologies and learning.

What you need
Experience with some or all of the following
C# or other relevant OO programming language
Modern web development practices
Javascript and any Front End framework (React or Angular preferred)
Database technologies – MS SQL or equivalent
Agile development experience
Any of the below is beneficial
.NET core
TDD
React/Angular
Azure, specifically creating deployment pipelines
Experience with technical leadership or software design
