Our client, an established Preparatory School in Hertfordshire, is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Maths Teacher to join their dedicated and enthusiastic teaching team.
An established preparatory school in Hertfordshire is looking for a suitably qualified and experienced Maths Teacher who can teach up to common entrance and scholarship examination level confidently, and can commit to the wider school life adding value to the maths department as well as the whole school.
This is a rare opportunity for an outstanding Teacher to join an exceptional day and boarding school. The Prep school is large with around 500 pupils on roll and offers a modern and diverse curriculum. Facilities at the school are outstanding and the maths department is well-resourced. There is a strong focus on using technology for teaching and learning in the school. The school encourages excellent personal and academic development for its students. Behaviour at the school is excellent.
The ideal applicant will be a qualified teacher and mathematics graduate or graduate from a related mathematical field. This post could suit NQTs or an experienced Teacher. Prior experience of preparing pupils for Common Entrance and Scholarship examinations is not essential but familiarity in these areas would help any application. The successful applicant will be a dynamic and versatile individual who is passionate about young people and mathematics.
The start date is advised as being as soon as possible but the school can wait until January 2021 for the right candidate.
The salary will be determined on the school’s own generous scale which is above the maintained sector. Other benefits include excellent CPD opportunities and access to first-rate on-site facilities.
