Ongo has handed over a further 12 homes on Rowland Road in Scunthorpe as part of its phased development in the area.

The site consists of a total of 32 two, three, and four-bedroom homes, which are available with a mix of shared ownership, rent to buy and rental options.

According to Ongo, these options are proving extremely popular in the area, especially with first time buyers.

The development is funded by Homes England, and is estimated to have cost somewhere in the region of £3.9m.

Lettings Officer Patricia Stoney said:

“Providing such a range of homes on this site is truly fantastic. We have some great opportunities for people to get on the property ladder too.

“By providing shared ownership and rent to buy, we’re making owning your own home easily accessible for those unable to save a huge deposit. That for us is just so exciting.

“This development shows how far we’ve grown in providing different options for local people, and we can’t wait to get everyone moved in.”

Tina Brown, one of the development’s newest residents commented:

“I’ve downsized from a bigger Ongo house to this one and I’m over the moon.

“My garden is huge, the quality is lovely and I’m so happy with it.”

The next phase will be handed over on 22 October, with all homes scheduled to be complete by 3 November 2020.
