Primary Teacher
Our client, a widely regarded preparatory school commutable from Luton, is looking for a suitably qualified primary teacher to join their dedicated and enthusiastic teaching team from September.
This independent prep school is an ISI ‘Excellent’ school and feeds to some of the best senior schools in London and the surrounding area. The school is small and boys and girls enter the school at 2yo, leaving at age 11. Small class sizes and excellent resources and leadership ensure the dedicated staff and parents at the school secure the best future for the pupils. The school is non-selective on entry but has a brilliant reputation for high academic achievement throughout the school. In addition the school offers a broad extracurricular programme and children are encouraged to partake in a wide variety of enriching activates in and out-of school hours.
The school are currently looking for a suitably qualified primary teacher to join the school from January 2021 or sooner. The role of primary teacher requires teaching an enthusiastic Year 2 class. The Primary Teacher timetable is full time. The incoming primary teacher should be a warm and engaging practitioner with an interest to progress the pupils both in their academic and personal development. Primary teacher candidates should be enthusiastic teachers and have exceptional knowledge of the core subjects at this level. Behaviour at the school is excellent and children make consistently outstanding progress throughout the school.
Salary will be determined on the schools own scale likely between but will be flexible dependant on experience.
The school can consider NQT applicants as well as non-qualified teachers possessing a suitable academic background with some experience in a school setting. The school can provide a generous induction and mentoring period to candidates early in their careers as well.
