Crime scene investigators and detectives were on the scene for much of the day yesterday.

They were seen removing several bags of evidence from the house.

An East Midlands Ambulance Service spokesperson said:

“We received a call at 12.34pm on July 30 to a private address in Grimsby.

“The caller reported a medical emergency.

“We sent two paramedics in fast response cars and a crewed ambulance.”

A spokesperson for Humberside Police added:

“Officers attended an address on Alexandra Road, Grimsby on the afternoon of Thursday 30 July following reports of concern for safety.”

In addition to the body found at a house on Alexandra Road, woman is also thought to have been injured. Her current condition is unknown.
