Teens targeted in masked bicycle theft

Detectives for Humberside Police are investigating the theft of a bicycle in Hull, and are appealing for witnesses.

The incident occurred at around 3.45pm on Thursday 23 July in the Tesco car park at St Stephens shopping centre, off Park Street.

It is alleged that two 14-year-old boys were standing with the bike when they were approached by two suspects wearing balaclavas.

One of the suspects began threatening the teenagers before taking the bike from them and cycling away.

The other suspect followed on foot.

The bike is described as a black Carrera Vengeance bicycle with blue grips on the handle bars.

It has a black mudguard, black seat and silver pedals and says Carrera vengeance on the frame.

Officere are asking anyone with information about the robbery or the whereabouts of the stolen bike to please get in touch.
