Council to consider off-road cycle route
North East Lincolnshire Council have announced that ENGIE are to conduct survey works in Cleethorpes, as they consider introducing an off-road cycle route.
Works will take place on Taylor’s Avenue between Hewitt’s Avenue roundabout and the Trinity Road junction, and on Hewitt’s Avenue between Low Farm Roundabout and the Peaks Lane junction.
The purpose of the survey is to gather additional information which will be considered by the Council and regeneration partner ENGIE as part of the feasibility study for the plans.
This forms part of the Council’s commitment to support and enable more journeys by encouraging cycling or walking.
Surveying is due to start on Monday 22 June, and will take four days to complete.
No road closures are expected.
