Ramsdens Home Interiors to reopen
Ramsdens Home Interiors in Grimsby have announced that in accordance with Government guidance, it will re-open as of Monday 15th June.
This follows a change in guidelines for all non-essential retail shops.
Homeware giant IKEA reopened on the 1st of June. Many other similar stores have remained semi-open, operating click and collect services or under strict social distancing guidelines.
Andy Taylor, Retail Director at Ramsdens Home Interiors said:
“As a local company supporting our community for the last 75 years we are very pleased to be re-opening and have carefully thought about how we can do this safely so our customers feel confident whilst shopping with us.
“As a result there will be a one-way system around the store and hygiene stations on all floors and at the entrance so people can sanitise their hands.
“We will also have a member of our team at the entrance monitoring the flow of people in and out and to ensure that social distancing is followed. Our customer toilet is locked but we will have available the disabled toilet for all customers to use, and it will be cleaned after every use.
“Our home interiors store covers 33,000 square feet across three floors so we have plenty of space available for customers to browse at their leisure whilst observing social distancing.”
The store will be operating at slightly reduced hours, opening Monday to Saturday 9-5.30pm (instead of 6pm) and on Sundays from 10-4pm.
