Me2raj celebrate Eid with donations to Harbour Place
In celebration of Eid, Me2raj restaurant have made a donation to Harbour Place in Grimsby.
As a display of good will during this difficult period, the team distributed a chicken roast dinner with rice to Grimsby’s less fortunate.
On their Facebook page, Me2raj wrote:
“Today Celebrating Eid With Harbour place Homeless Shelter Grimsby.
“Sharing with the less fortunate people in our local community is the best way to celebrate the love of EID.
“We have been supporting our NHS, Care workers over the months of Ramadan and we hope to continue this onward.
“Today we have distributed Chicken Roast Dinner with Rice.
“Thank you so much to the team behind to make this possible.
“We are truly blessed!”
Throughout the coronavirus pandemic, Me2raj have supported the local community and our emergency workers by continuously donating meals.
In addition to their Eid donation to Harbour Place, the team has also provided 180 meals to staff on the Amethyst Ward at Diana Princess of Wales Hospital, Grimsby, and 20 meals for staff at Cloverdale Care Home staff.
The Me2raj team said:
“We have loved being part of the effort to help those who looking after our love ones. They deserve treats like this.”
