Woman suffers multiple injuries during assault on Corporation Road
A woman had suffered multiple injuries during an alleged assault on Corporation Road, Grimsby, Humberside Police have reported.
The assault is thought to have taken place at approximately 2.40pm on Thursday 7 May.
Humberside Police are investigating the incident that took place on Grimsby’s West Marsh, and have issued an appeal for witnesses.
Officers were called to the scene to find that a woman had been injured by a man in an attack outside of a property on Corporation Road, leaving her with injuries to her arm, cheeks and left ear.
She was treated at hospital for the injuries, which are not thought to be serious.
A spokesperson for Humberside Police issued the following statement:
“Did you see anything or have any information that could help us?
“We are appealing for witnesses to an alleged assault which took place at approximately 2.40pm on Thursday 7 May on Corporation Road, Grimsby.
“It is alleged that a woman was assaulted by a man outside a property, which resulted in her suffering injuries to her arm, cheeks and left ear. She was treated at hospital for the injuries, which are not thought to be serious.
