Staff at Jack’s have been busy making donations to Havenmare Care Home, Throughcare Charity, Grimsby, and Navigo Charity, Grimsby.

NHS staff at Diana Princess of Wales Hospital have also received gifts.

As part of their ‘Jack’s Supports’ scheme, the company also recently made cash donations to several local charities including £500 to Grimsby and Cleethorpes Area Doorstep, and £250 to Grimsby Ancient Mariners Walking Football Club, Lincolnshire lowland Search and Rescue, and Queen Mary Avenue Infant and Nursery School.

Dave Peck, Store Manager at Jack’s Immingham, said:
“We know these are challenging times for everyone, but especially for those working on the frontline. They do an amazing job, and were delighted with the gesture.
“It’s a great feeling to be able to brighten someone’s day, which is why we try to help as much as we can. We’re really glad to be able to give back to a community that’s been so kind to us.”

“We launched Jack’s Supports to give something back to the local communities that have supported us since our launch. Each of the charities involved in the scheme do fantastic work in the local area, and we’re delighted that we are in a position to be able to offer our support.”

He added that although the charity voting stations have had to be removed due to the coronavirus crisis, charities will not miss out on contributions during this crucial period.
