Man charged over Grimsby ambulance crew assault

Humberside Police have reported that a man has been charged by police after a member of an ambulance crew was reportedly assaulted in Grimsby last week.

The alleged attack happened at about 13:20 on Friday 24th of April, while the crew was responding to an incident on Durban Road.

A 38-year-old man has been charged with assaulting an emergency worker and a public order offence.

Matthew Johnson, of Iona Drive, Humberston, has been bailed to appear at court in June.
