Appeals over criminal activity in Hull

Recent reports of criminal activity in Hull include both drug charges and an ATM theft, Humberside Police are appealing for witnesses to assist their investigations.

Three men appeared before Hull Magistrates Court on drug charges today yesterday, after a car containing what is suspected to be cannabis was stopped on the eastbound M62 at North Cave on Monday, 20 April.

Serjani Klaudio, 31, of High Road, London and Besmir Thaci, 28, of Ellington Road, Feltham, are both charged with being concerned in the supply of cannabis.

Arben Basha, 29, of River Views Grays, Essex, is also charged with being concerned in the supply of cannabis, alongside driving without insurance or a licence.

Another man has also been arrested in connection with an attack on a cash machine in James Reckitt Avenue, Hull, yesterday morning.

Officers for Humberside Police were called at shortly before 5.30am with reports that someone had damaged the cash machine before taking money from inside.

A 58-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of theft and has been released pending further enquiries.
