Man charged with drug offences in Oxford

A man has been charged with a number of drug offences in Oxford, following a Thames Valley Police investigation.

Tyrese Blake-Hakeem, aged 20, of Rutland Road, Bearwood, Warley, was arrested on Sunday and charged on Monday.

He has been charged with possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A, crack cocaine, possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A, heroin, acquiring, using and possession of criminal property, possession of a knife and for contravening the requirement as to the restriction of movement during the Covid-19 lockdown.

He was arrested following a stop and search at around 5.20pm on Sunday, in Townsend Square.

Blake-Hakeem appeared at Reading Magistrates court today and pleaded not guilty to all the charges.

He is due to appear at Oxford Crown Court on the 1st of May in connection with many of the the above listed charges, and will reappear at Oxford Crown Court on the 15th of May in connection with the charge of contravening the requirement as to the restriction of movement during the emergency period.
