Angry confrontations with street preacher.
Humberside Police were called to Victoria street this afternoon and arrested a woman after a street preacher became involved in an angry confrontation.
It is believed that the street preacher had set himself up on a pedestal and was talking about sexuality and other topics through a microphone. He is thought to have had a big group of kids around him and it is not sure if they were laughing with him or at him.
A man is then believed to have pushed a phone in the preacher’s face. He and the preacher then had a scuffle around the corner with one pushing the other. Then at least four police cars arrived and at least one woman was arrested.
Humberside Police have said that inquiries are underway after they were called to a disturbance near Freshney Place. Anyone with any information can call us on 101 quoting log 232 17th February 2020.
