Police search fields off A16 looking for missing man.

Search teams from Humberside and Lincolnshire police are combing the fields between Holton -Le-Clay and North Thoresby in their search for missing man John Carl Davis from North Cotes.

They are believed to have been joined by Louth search dogs. The 56-year-old man has been missing since around 5.40 pm last Wednesday. He was last seen on Bethlehem Street, Grimsby close to Freshney Place Shopping Centre. Concerns have been growing for his safety after his car was found last Friday at Hartwell Ford. Police are scouting the areas of Holton-Le- Clay because of a sighting near the A16. He had been seen near the war memorial at around 9 pm on the day he went missing. And unconfirmed sightings on the Peaks Parkway at 5 pm Sunday.

Police have issued a new image of the missing man which family believes is a better likeness.
