Family of Grimsby Town legend set up fundraiser for Alzheimer’s charity.

Family of Grimsby Town legend Matt Tees set up a fundraiser for Alzheimer’s charity.

Matt Tees was a former Grimsby Town striker. Sadly he was diagnosed with dementia in 2012 and moved to assisted living last year.

His family Matt’s wife May and daughters in law Lisa and Karen and granddaughter Lucy. Are all going to be taking part in the GLOW Hull walk on March 7th. The walk is in aid of the Alzheimer’s society. They will be raising money in the build-up to their walk across the Humber Bridge.

May has looked after Matt with help from her lovely family until August when unfortunately his condition worsened and he moved to assisted living at Homefield House.

You can join May and her family on the GLOW Hull memory walk which takes place on Saturday, March 7th.

If you would like to donate to May’s cause on behalf of the Alzheimer’s Society please visit her just giving page.
