Staff and students feel unsafe at school.
Staff and student of school in oxford confined in Ofsted due to feeling unsafe at school. The 1,068-pupil secondary school in Littlemore, was rated ‘in need of improvement’ by Ofsted. The major concerns was bullying and violence.
The school are confident that they can crack down on this issue and prevent incidents from occurring, in order to make staff and students feel more safe and happy.
Currently, many student are worried about coming to school due to the amount of bullying incidents and violence. During the inspection Ofsted inspectors picked up on a lot of homophobic language and the fact that students was scared to use the communal facilites. It is believe that there is constant staff changes, making student feel as though they have lost an adult that they could have spoken to.
