Doorman attacked after going to help assault victim.
A doorman had only just finished his busy New Years Eve shift when he went to help an unconscious assault victim. The doorman Jordan Arnold says he hopes he did a good job in helping.
As he tried to help the victim who was unconscious he was attacked with a bottle.
The incident happened on the Cleethorpes High Street. When he heard a man crying out for help with blood pouring down his face. But it is believed that the man he’d originally seen had knocked someone else unconscious.
It is believed that four people were standing near the victim, and then a fifth appeared from behind and struck the doorman with the glass bottle.
It is hoped that their will be CCTV footage of the lads in the area that night.
