Heartbreak on Christmas Day
A man and a woman died in two separate crashes on Christmas Day in Lincolnshire.
Emergency services were called at around 3pm to Covenham St Mary Louth where a blue Audi A6 had left the road. The male driver was tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
Police are appealing for any one who may have seen the blue Audi or has dash cam footage which may help them in their investigation to contact 101 quoting incident 196 of December 25th.
The second tragic accident happened on Louth Road North Cockerington about 5.50pm. It involved a silver Ford Fiesta and a grey BMW. Two people were taken to hospital from the Fiesta. Sadly a passenger in the Fiesta a woman believed to be in her 70’s has tragically died.
