On a BBC Christmas special that is on tonight, Catherine reveals that Mary was one of Prince Louis’s first words.
She reveals that 19-month-old Prince Louis would see Mary’s face on the cookbooks that are right at his height in the kitchen. He was fascinated by faces and would say that’s Mary Berry.
Catherine says that he would definitely recognise her if he saw her today. Catherine reveals how she cooks with the children. During the programe Mary Berry helps the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge prepare food for a royal event. The event is held to thank all those working or volunteering over the festive period. Prince William spoke at the homelessness charity The Passage in London. He said it was one of the first places he made an official visit to and it had a profound effect on him.
Mary Berry said the charity work carried out by the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge was remarkable.
The programme culminates in a Christmas party hosted by the royal couple. A Berry Royal Christmas is on tonight Monday 16th December on BBC One at 8.30 pm.
