Armed Police shoot wounded fox.
Oxford Street Cleethorpes was partly closed yesterday when armed officers were called euthanise a fox that was badly wounded.
The fox was seen staggering around and in distress and appeared to be very badly injured with blood coming out of its mouth.
The armed police closed off part of the road and shot the animal.
Humberside Police said that it is common for armed officers to be called out To humanely euthanise severely injured animals, and the council will then remove its body.
