We currently have an excellent opportunity to work within the Humber Ports (Inclusive of Hull, Immingham, Grimsby, Goole, Barton-upon-humber and Scunthorpe)
We are recruiting for a wide range of roles from quayside, vessel and plant. We are keen to talk to experienced stevedores and candidates with transferable skills from other sectors such as construction, steel works, warehousing, production, industrial cleaning, demolition, HGV Class 1 / Lorry Drivers.

Job Roles:
- The ports are a 24/7 Operation – days, nights and part time hours available
- Quayside and vessel duties including; lashing, slinger banksman, hold, hatch, hopper, traffic marshall, stevedore, tally
- None quayside roles including; gatehouse, weighbridge, industrial cleaning, warehousing, tabbing
- Plant duties including; forklift truck driving, reachstacker driving, crane driving, tug driving, tug tipper, gantry crane, shovel driving, bobcat, skidsteer
The Successful candidate:
- Cargo Handling in Ports certification (CHIPS) is desirable but not essential as training can be provided
- Previous experience as a stevedore / plant operator is desirable but not essential as training can be provided
- Evidence of previous experience operating Shovel, Tug, B1, HGV, Forklift, Reachstacker, Tippers, Hoppers, is desirable. We can refresh any out of date licences and provide novice courses.
- Previous experience lashing, slinger banksman, hatch, hold, tally, tabbing is desirable but not essential as training can be provided
- Keen to learn new skills
- Flexible approach to work
- Full UK driving licence desirable but not essential
- Good communication skills
- Health and Safety conscientious with the ability to follow rules
