Trainee Slitter

We are recruiting for a trainee Slitter to work for one of our clients based in Scunthorpe.

Details:

• Pay rate: £8.21h, increasing to £8.65h when full-time with client
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, working days on 8 hour shifts, with the occasional extra hours at the weekend.
• Temp to perm contract available
• Non-food factory
• Location: Scunthorpe
• Duration: Ongoing
• Immediate start
• Ongoing work

Role of a Trainee Slitter:

• Operating a slitting machine, slitting reels of foil in preperation for production
• Making sure that work area is clean and tidy
• Adhering to H&S rules

The ideal candidate for Trainee Slitter role will:

• have a proven solid work history, ideally within a manufacturing environment operating machinery
• have a good level of english and maths
• be physically fit, as job involves heavy lifting
• be able to demonstrate a commitment to work and a drive for a long term position
• have a strong attention to detail
