Confirmation that the government is looking at the Suggitts Lane Crossing Closure.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said that the Suggitts Lane crossing closure is never far from his thoughts. MP Martin Vickers had called for an urgent review of the crossing closure which was closed by Network Rail in April.

Mr. Vickers also said during Prime Ministers question time that Northern Lincolnshire’s economy would benefit from east-west rail freight connections. Also an upgrade to the A15 between Lincoln and the M180 and free Humber ports after Brexit. Boris Johnson said he would support the proposals.

Mr. Johnson is believed to have said that he has undertakings from the Department of Transport that it will seek to find a solution and a safe means for pedestrians to cross the railway line.
