Man Stabbed On Ferndale Road

Yesterday at 2:15pm, police were called after reports of a man

in his 50s was stabbed on Ferndale Road in Rodbourne.

They arrived on scene in five minutes, however it apparently wasn’t fast

enough as suspects had already fled.

The victim was taken to Great Western Hospital, it is known that his injuries weren’t life threatening.

An extensive search has been carried out however no arrests have been made so far.

It is believed that a group of youths had followed him between 1:45pm to 2:15pm when the attack took place.

After the assault, they ran off towards Pinehurst Station from Northern Road.
