Hundred Mourn Over PC Andrew Harper – A Hero to All
Hundreds of people come together to mourn over the loss of hero, PC Andrew Harper,
who had lost his life on Thursday August 15 after he was dragged under a van near
Sulhamstead, in West Berkshire.
A private funeral service was held at 11:00am today at Oxford’s Christ Church Cathedral
for family and friends of the officer.
Thames Valley Police said members of the public were welcome to pay their respects along the processional route.
Lissie Harper, wife of Andrew described her husband as kind, lovely and the most selfless person you will ever meet.
As a mark of respect for PC Harper, the force’s flags will be flying at half-mast on this sorrowful day.
Three people have been accused of the murder of PC Harper as well as the conspiracy to steal a quad bike,
those being Henry Long, 18, from Mortimer in Reading and two 17-year-old boys who are unable to be named
for legal reasons.
Another has been accused of conspiracy to stealing the quad bike, Thomas King, 21, from Basingstoke.
Jed Foster had also been accused however all charges were dropped after further police investigation.
