Scunthorpe Gym Raided In Police Drugs Operation

The gym, Reso24, was forced to close yesterday evening after

police raided area in drugs operation.

Officers arrested a man in the building on suspicion of possessing drugs.

Everyone was told to leave the building and classes were cancelled,

the gym being closed for the foreseeable future.

Currently, police have arrested a total of three men following the operation,

including the man arrested at the gym.

Drugs have been seized throughout the town, the three men remaining in custody that afternoon.

Members of the gym were greeted with a piece of paper saying: ‘gym closed today’ as well as an

announcement being posted on Reso24’s facebook, notifying everyone that the gym will be closed until further notice.

Yesterday’s operation was the latest mission to crackdown on illegal drugs in the area,

including a number of a houses have been closed down by police due to antisocial behaviour involving drugs.
