Woman taken to hospital after a petrol bomb attack.
It is believed that Humberside Fire and Rescue were called to a property on Tivoli Gardens at around 9.35 last night. To reports of a front door and canopy on fire. When they arrived firefighters are to believed to have broken down the door to rescue a woman who was inside.
Someone is thought to have filled a watering can up with petrol and set it on fire and then thrown it at the door. Police believe that the attack was targeted at a previous occupant who lived at the address.
The woman is believed to have suffered slight smoke inhalation.
