By In memory of the late and popular member John Hood, Cleethorpes Cricket Club recently held a Charity Competition at Cleethorpes Golf Club.
Thirteen teams took part and thanks to the players and sponsorship from members and friends, £890 was raised in aid of Pancreatic Cancer.
It is intended that this will become an annual event and Jeff Todd, the organiser, has already been told of more teams who will be entering next year’s event.
