Wanted man found hiding in bushes.

Aiden Gornall led police on a chase around Grimsby town centre after he told officers that he just wanted to give his girlfriend a cuddle. But then he ran off and jumped over a wall on to train tracks. A sharp-eyed policeman spotted his foot under a bush after hearing rustling noises and he was captured.

Aiden Gornell 31 of Roberts Street Grimsby admitted escaping from lawful custody on June 1st. He was wanted for two thefts he admitted stealing a bottle of whiskey from Sainsbury’s on May 31st and using threatening behaviour. He had 62 convictions for previous offences including robbery and many thefts. Aiden Gornell is believed to have a Class A drug addiction habit and stole to feed that habit. He had been in custody since June 3rd he was jailed for seven months but because of his time in custody it is expected he will be released soon.
