Police ram car at Grimsby’s Riverhead.
Police rammed a car at Grimsby’s Riverhead and arrested three suspected burglars. The incident happened around 4.30pm today near the former bus station.
The black Peugeot 2008 is believed to have been involved in a burglary this morning on Marian Way, Waltham. Humberside Police were forced to ram the car to get it to stop. It is believed that the driver then tried to climb out of the window as the drivers door was wedged against a bollard. Police struggled to get one of the suspects out of the car and police had to call for back up. A woman was also in the car.
Three people were arrested two men and a woman on suspicion of burglary and failing to stop for the police after the incident.
