Would you pay a large amount of money for someone to make your child a YouTube star?

A couple has offered a £39,000 a year salary for a nanny who could help their eight-year-old child become a YouTube star. Any potential nanny would have to not only be experienced in childcare. But also able to support the child as she records, edits and publishes her videos online.

Especially encouraged to apply are nannies who have already got a good digital portfolio and a successful media account. The couple says they have no idea how to help their daughter with her ambition. And that making videos is the only pastime that keeps their daughter interested for more than a couple weeks. The job ad is on childcare.co.uk. in the ad, the couple says their aim is for their daughter to be a star on YouTube within two years.
