Dad broke women’s nose when he was found paralytic with his four-year-old daughter.

Samuel Clough was so drunk he was paralytic after he had downed a bottle of spirits at a party.

He was slumped in the street on Yarborough Road with his four-year-old daughter standing next to him. A woman tried to help the little girl by taking her away to safety but he lashed out with brute force and left her with terrible injuries. He broke her nose her injuries were believed to be horrific and the women still suffered from scaring. She was only doing what any responsible adult would have done.

Samuel Clough had 58 previous convictions including assault causing actual bodily harm and had been to prison previously. He had kept out of trouble since 2015.

He was jailed for a year.
