By Update on Mcdonalds Laceby Closure.
As reported earlier Mcdonalds in Laceby is closed today. As a large digger smashed into the back of the building last night. A police cordon is still in place after an excavator was driven through a hedge and used to break in at about 4 am this morning.
It is believed that the gang fled in a number of vehicles.
The building is believed to be badly damaged at the rear where the drive-thru and rear offices are located. It is not known when the restaurant will reopen.
