Three men jailed for a knifepoint robbery.
Three robbers have been jailed for a total of 16 years at Grimsby Crown Court for a violent knifepoint robbery that took place last December.
The robbery took place at the Spar shop on Laceby Road on 19th December 2018. Paul Blake 39 of no fixed abode was jailed for 6 years and 3 months for robbery and 21 months for possession of a knife. Luke Page 37 of Harold Street, Grimsby was jailed for 6 years and 3 months for robbery. John Murray 42 of Shelley Avenue, Grimsby was jailed for 4 years and 10 months for robbery, and 8 months for possessing a knife. The shopkeeper was targeted in his business premises and was subjected to extreme violence by the three men. It was only by luck that the victim was not seriously hurt by the criminals who were in possession of knives.
