Lovely new hide and seek game is taking place in Grimsby and Cleethorpes.
Look 4 a book has arrived in our area with children and parents hiding books in woodlands, play areas, and many other areas. Look 4 a Book Uk has a national campaign which aims to ignite excitement and enjoyment in reading.
To take part children or teenagers can either hide their own reading book somewhere in the world or if they are lucky enough to come across one they are allowed to take it home to read, before then rehiding it or a new book somewhere else.
You can keep the book as long as you like but when you have finished you must rehide a new book for someone else to enjoy. Members of Village Parenting kick-started the campaign in Grimsby and Cleethorpes after hearing about its success in Brigg.
A Facebook page called Look for a Book NE Linc’s has been started to enable the game to be managed easier.
