Four drugs arrests at Grimsby property

A man from Liverpool, and two women and a teenage boy from Grimsby have been arrested on suspicion of drugs offences following a Misuse of Drugs warrant executed in Grimsby.

Following information gathered by officers, the arrests were made at an address on Wellowgate yesterday Wednesday 7 August.

Thirty nine wraps of a white powder believed to be a class A drugs, and an amount of cannabis were seized along with three mobile phones that are suspected to be involved in drugs activity.

The four arrested people are still in custody.

Detective Inspector Nicola Foster from Grimsby CID said: “This is good result for the community and for us as it has not only ended up in four individuals being arrested and drugs being seized, but it has disrupted drugs activity and supply.

We always act on information passed on to us about suspected drugs crimes. When we get enough intelligence we can get a warrant, and in this case, get the results we want. Please keep coming forward with any suspicions you might have about drugs activity where you live. Drugs do wreck lives and can be a blight on communities. By working together we can help tackle illegal drugs and those who profit from them.”
