Following the vandalism this morning on the promenade a CCTV video has emerged of a man pulling the plants out of the planters.
Local businesses are sadden as the planters that are cared for by a partnership between business on North and Central Promenades and “The Big Local” said they had just started to really bloom.
Reports of a man in a stripped top was taken to a local facility. He was reported to have mental health issues.
The council by 8am this morning had cleared all the debris.
