Winterton Rangers manager Scott Hellewell previews their Emirates FA Cup fixture this coming Saturday 10th August.

“Really looking forward to Saturday’s game, it’s the first time for a fair few years that the club has been in the FA cup and as a player getting to play in the FA cup gives you that extra buzz as you know if you perform well and get a bit of luck then you never know what can happen.

It’s also always nice to have a local derby we obviously know about them like they do us and we expect a very tough game. After last season we owe them one, they beat us all 3 times and were the only team other than Dronfield who proper bullied us.
Its never nice to lose a derby especially to one of your mates and I know Baz will be quietly confident this time around.
That being said I feel we have a much improved squad now and we look a big team and more physical, there’s a number of players what didn’t play for us when we played them last season.
After Saturday’s second half performance we should be confident plus you would like to think home advantage helps so let’s hope come 5pm it’s us celebrating and in the hat for the next round.”
