Bus shelter improvement works across North East Lincolnshire

Bus shelters will be replaced at various locations in Grimsby and Immingham.

North East Lincolnshire Council’s regeneration partner, ENGIE, will be starting bus shelter replacement works from Monday 5 August.

The new bus stops will reduce the ongoing maintenance costs and ensure good quality public transport infrastructure is in place.

Bus shelters will be replaced in the following locations:

  • Sutcliffe Avenue, Grimsby. Outside the Nursery School – Monday 5 August, 9.30am to 3.30pm
  • Pelham Road, Immingham

– Opposite Ideal Property Services – Tuesday 6 August, 9.30am to 3.30pm

– Near Pelham Carpets – Wednesday 7 August, 9.30am to 4.30pm

– Near Roxton Medical Centre – Thursday 8 August, 9.30am to 4.30pm

  • Cromwell Road, Grimsby

– Near Tintern Walk – Tuesday 27 August, 9am to 4.30pm

– Opposite Great Coates Primary School – Wednesday 28 August, 9am to 4.30pm

While works take place at each location, the bus stops will be temporarily suspended and a temporary bus stop put in place close to the existing stop.

Access to footways will be maintained at all times while works take place. The works will not impact the carriageway or road users.

North East Lincolnshire Council and ENGIE would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused by the works.
