By A teenager is currently in hospital with life threatening injuries following a collision on Cheapside in Waltham yesterday afternoon (Thursday 25 July).
At around 2.35pm, a red VW Polo was travelling along Cheapside, away from Waltham, at the same time a 13-year-old boy on a black and blue Carrera Sulcata mountain bike, appears to have emerged from Golf Course Lane.
A collision occurred between the cyclist and the car close to the junction of Anita Grove.
The boy riding the bike was taken to hospital where his condition is described as critical. The 73-year-old woman driving the car was treated for minor injuries by paramedics.
