JOIN Lincs Inspire during the summer holidays for a brand new three day Performing Arts Workshop teaching dance in all its forms.
Children six years and older will learn new styles of dance including street, lyrical and musical theatre, whilst assisting in script writing and choosing songs. All the dances will be performed as a show on the final day.
Sarah Lowe, Sports Development Coach, Lincs Inspire said: “We are excited to host our first three day workshop and look forward to working together with the children to create our own spectacular production! Having the three days will allow us the extra time to include everyone’s ideas and perfect routines. It will be a case of eat, sleep, dance, repeat!”
Ben Frary, Senior Sports Development Officer, Lincs Inspire said: “This is a great opportunity for those taking part to be creative and express themselves. Everyone will be given the chance to contribute towards the final show, which should leave children with a sense of accomplishment. Between this workshop and our other summer holiday activities, we’re hoping we can inspire children to pursue their hobbies to the next level.”
The Three Day Performing Arts Workshop will take place at Scartho Community Library on Tuesday, August 27 to Thursday, August 29. In addition to the workshop, Cleethorpes Leisure Centre will be hosting their usual supervised Dance activities throughout the summer holidays.
