Plans for a wedding venue in People’s Park approved.
North East Lincolnshire Council have approved plans for a wedding venue in People’s Park. The Floral Hall will be transformed into a community venue by Navigo.
Weddings and children’s parties will feature in the plans to transform the Floral Hall. Navigo the not-for-profit organisation will convert part of the existing greenhouse. A bespoke space will be created that can be used as a Bridal House.
The venue will hold events from affordable weddings, children’s parties, charity functions, and free community activities when it is revamped. Navigo will also continue to help people with mental problems. it aims to get people from disadvantaged backgrounds and people with mental health problems back into work.
The number of evening events and a strict noise management plan was agreed by Navigo and also to meet with residents regularly as the plans progress. It is hoped that the work will start as soon as possible.
