By Walk to School Week for 2019 has officially ended and after school children have walked, scooted and pedalled around the borough during the annual campaign we can announce that Canon Peter Hall CofE Primary School’s children have claimed the top prize.
Canon Peter Hall Primary School had a participation rate of 83.4 per cent and claimed the top prize of £1,500 worth of outdoor play equipment.
Additionally all local schools taking part were entered into a random draw to win 2 X £250 worth of outdoor play equipment; the winning schools of the draw are Lisle Marsden CofE Primary Academy and William Barcroft Junior School.
