Prestige Auction’s celebrates second birthday with 2 auctions this weekend

Setting up Prestige auctions was a bit of a risk in the town and one that most people thought would fail as so many others had tried with no success but two years on and Prestige is going from strength to strength.

Now employing 6 people and the auction room is full every week.

With the headline grabbing Pleasure Island auction that made national news in both TV and print and several other onsite auctions done across the town, the only way they are looking is up to the future.

They have also just agreed to be the main event sponsor for the North Thoresby 1940s event in August and will be holding an onsite marquee auction at the event which they believe is the only 1940s event in the country to be staging a themed auction.

They have a weekend of auction events to celebrate their second birthday which will include a life long collection of autographs and scripts, a stunning Beatles memorabilia collection of over 200 lots cleared from a house down Park Street and stunning jewellery which will include a 1.82ct antique diamond ring, Also a stunning medal group which includes an extremely rare distinguished flying cross from world war 2 which was awarded to a squadron leader for his efforts and bravery. They will also be doing giveaways at the two days of auctions.

Viewing is Friday 8am – 7pm at Orwell Street Auction room in Grimsby.
Saturdays auction starts at 9.30 am and Sunday’s auction starts at 11am

They have shown that Grimsby really does have some treasures locked away and they want to keep on recycling them.
