Parents banned from Schools sports day for abusive behaviour.
Many parents become excited at the thought of beating their children in the egg and spoon race.
But competitive parents can be a nightmare. And so much that in fact, one school has banned them from future sports days. After staff found themselves in the firing line of angry parents who the head teacher said could be frightening and intimidating. She said parents had sworn at teachers in front of children at this year’s event.
But many parents said that parents were competitive but he never saw any aggressive or threatening behaviour. The school should ban the parents responsible and not let all the parents and pupils suffer was the opinion of many.
