A man threatened a cyclist with a meat cleaver after an argument over moving a bike. He got a 30cm long meat cleaver and threatened to kill the other man.
Mark Inkson 43 admitted at Grimsby Crown Court to using threatening behaviour on February 28th. The man was visiting a friends flat and left his bike in a communal hallway.
Mark Inkson told him in no uncertain terms to move his bike, the man picked the bike up, but Mark Inkson went into a flat and came out with the 30cm blade and 10cm wide meat cleaver., and shouted I’m going to kill you. The man got on his bike but Inkson chased him and got within 30cm of the man. He claimed he only wanted to scare the man.
Mark Inkson had convictions for assault and criminal damage he realised he had a short fuse and needs to tackle it.
Mark Inkson of Heritage Mews Grimsby was given a one year sentence and 15 days rehabilitation.
