In preparation for the annual surface dressing programme taking place across the borough in July, a number of pothole and patch repairs will be carried out from Monday 17 June for two weeks.
The essential works will ensure the road surface is fully prepared for the surface dressing works and all pot holes are filled in, sealing the carriageway surface from water.
When the works are being carried out localised traffic management will be required between 7.30am and 6pm to ensure that the workforce is safe whilst they are completing the works.
However, the materials used to repair the road surface are applied cold and so can be completed in minutes, which help to minimise the impact on traffic.
All locations will be completed by Friday 28 June.
This work is weather dependant so the timing of the works may change if weather conditions are not suitable.
The Council working in partnership with ENGIE would like to apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused by these works.
