Relaunch of Churches Together in NELincs

Churches Together in North East Lincolnshire (CTNEL) is the umbrella body for all the Christian churches in North East Lincolnshire.

It is holding its Annual General Meeting on 6th June 7pm at City Church, on Chelmsford Avenue, Grimsby.

As the ecumenical umbrella body in North East Lincolnshire, CTNEL has for many years actively supported Christian social action work and ecumenical partnerships across the borough.  This work includes the Daily Bread Food Larder; the Street Angels who work in Cleethorpes each Saturday night, and the Justice & Peace Group.

Current Chair of CTNEL, the Revd Canon Andrew Dodd, said

We are now in a position where we would like to relaunch CTNEL with a revised constitution.  This will enable us as churches to refocus our work and enable local partnerships across the borough to flourish.

If you are interested in learning more about the work of CTNEL, and maybe getting involved with it or any or the groups it supports, you are warmly invited to the Annual General Meeting on Thursday 6th June at 7pm  at City Church on Chelmsford Avenue

Mary Vickers moved to North East Lincolnshire in 2010, from the Wiltshire/Hampshire border, to become Urban and Industrial Chaplain NELincs. Made redundant in 2017, she's maintained many of her connections within the business, faith, and other local communities. She's also decided to stay here rather than return to either the south or her husband's native Yorkshire, so that she can continue to enjoy and help promote the positives of NELincs.
